Medical Expenses Tax Offset
A tax deduction is available to any taxpayer whose net medical and dental expenses in the financial year exceed $2120.
Medical expenses may include payments made to medical practitioners, hospitals, chemists, dentists, opticians, therapeutic treatment and medical aids.
If you have recently had major dental work, we can provide you with an end of year financial statement. Patients who are considering having crown, bridge, implant or other major dental treatment, may want to initiate that treatment before June 30.
